As Marco's Chief Strategy Officer, Trevor Akervik puts his skills to work in strategizing and building. He oversees Human Resources and is responsible for helping craft the structure of the future of the organization, to offer support and prepare for growth. He leads efforts to create new strategies, as well as modifies existing strategies to support market dynamics and achieve Marco’s business plan. Trevor started with Marco as a territory sales representative in 2001. His clear commitment to helping customers and exceeding goals earned him the role of sales manager, and he was chosen to help establish and oversee Marco’s managed service practice in 2009. He became Vice President of Managed Services, and then Chief Strategy Officer and has been a key player in Marco building its IT business.
