It is interesting to trace the professional journey taken by Clay Ostlund. In 2009, he joined Marco as a Network Engineer. Fourteen years later, he was named Chief Revenue Officer where he leads the Sales and Solutions teams. 

He’s already made his presence felt as CRO, launching the MSP Growth Charter to focus efforts on continued prosperity for the company’s managed services practice. That spawned UnifiedCollaboration, a new UCaaS offering, and a solution focused on CIO/CISO fractional consulting. 

Jonathan Warrey, Vice President of Managed Services, nominated Clay for the award and had this to say:

From implementing automation to improving work processes and ensuring a positive client experience, Clay is focused on helping clients solve their business challenges. While leading both the sales and solutions groups at Marco, he understands the importance of both choosing the right technology and being a partner who’s focused on business outcomes for the client. He also knows how to create motivating environments for employees to thrive in, which drives employees to perform at their best and be rewarded for it.

Clay Ostlund was deeply humbled to receive the ENX Difference Maker award. "Being recognized alongside such esteemed honorees is truly special," Ostlund remarked. He expressed his sincere gratitude saying "Many thanks to the team at ENX Magazine for this honor, my colleagues at Marco who make it a great place to work, and Jonathan who nominated me."

At home, his inspiration can be found with his wife and four children, who motivate him to provide the greatest possible future for his family. While this tech expert can be found in front of a computer most of the work day – off the clock, he spends time woodworking with only a solar-powered calculator and an AM/FM radio.
