Talent Acquisition Specialist

St. Cloud, MN

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is primarily responsible for attracting, interviewing and referring applicants for positions within the company. The position requires active attendance and participation at recruitment events and involvement with social media to support outreach efforts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for various aspects of recruitment including but not limited to: sourcing, attracting and conducting initial interviews of applicants for referral to supervisors or managers responsible for final selection
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date applicant tracking lists and job search files
  • Conduct reference checks
  • Travel to and attend regular job fairs / recruitment events within all of Marco’s current geographies
  • Actively participate in developing and utilizing social media for recruitment efforts
  • Support other areas of recruitment and onboarding as a back-up including but not limited to: creating offer letters, distributing follow-up letters to applicants timely, completing onboarding administrative activities, coordinating new hire materials and facilitating new employee orientation

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field and two years experience or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as a MS Office applications and Outlook
  • Superior internal and external customer service and communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, dedicated to the challenge of helping other people
  • Demonstrates attention to detail
  • Strong ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion regarding confidential matters
  • Self-starter with the ability to perform with little or no direct supervision
  • Excellent organizational and time/task management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work within a defined timeline and to operate with changing priorities
  • Function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, client oriented team

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
