Billing Supervisor

The Billing Supervisor is responsible for facilitation of Marco’s contract programs and administration. This position will assist the Administration Manager in supervising and directing the Contracts Team to ensure our client’s expectations are met.This full-time position will work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily supervision for the Contracts Team members which includes:
    • Coach and train team members
    • Serve as the first escalation point of contact to handle issues
    • Monitor team coverage, oversee PTO approval, make sure back-ups are in place and redistribute work to cover when others are out
    • Monitor staffing and equipment needs, conduct interviews and make hiring decisions
    • Conduct performance reviews and make compensation recommendations
  • Answer escalated client inquiries regarding billing questions and contract agreements
  • Perform general contract audit activities to ensure transactions are being handled consistently and accurately by all team members
  • Compile and maintain detail reports for vendors
  • Review the outstanding meter reports with the external leasing vendors and work with Contracts Coordinator Leads to provide resolution
  • Verify accuracy of client contract documents and complete updates as needed
  • Reconcile open supply hold orders and coordinate missing details with Sales Representatives
  • Monitor leasing upload items and reconcile open or pending meter errors, service rates and escalation issues and work with Contracts Coordinator Leads on outstanding items
  • Review outstanding lease invoice balances and work with leasing vendors or Contracts Coordinators on corrections
  • Generate month end contract accruals

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree and 4 years of experience or equivalent experience
  • Superior numerical ability and advanced accounting skills
  • Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office applications including a high level of Excel knowledge 
  • Superior internal and external customer service and communication skills
