Marco Receives 2016 Community Impact Award for Long-Term Achievement

Marco is excited to announce that it is the recipient of the 2016 Community Impact Award in the category of Long-Term Achievement, presented by Minnesota Business magazine. The Long-Term Achievement Award recognizes a Minnesota-based company for demonstrating a long-term commitment (at least ten years) to positively impacting the state’s community of nonprofits or other worthy causes.

The nomination process consisted of a three month period where nominations were solicited and submitted through the Minnesota Business web portal. Once nominations closed, they were collected and distributed to an internal review team to select the top five. The top five were then submitted to an external judging panel to select the winner. The panel consisted of industry experts across all professional platforms.

Marco accepted the 2016 Community Impact Award on Thursday, February 25 at Aria in Downtown Minneapolis. Marco’s CEO Jeff Gau was also named a finalist for the 2016 Community Impact Award Paragon of Leadership. Finalists were featured at the event in video vignettes with interviews and testimonials showcasing their efforts and successes.
