Executive Vice President of Acquisitions and Integration
As Executive Vice President of Acquisitions and Integration at Marco, Jennifer Johnson is inspired by helping solve other people’s challenges and contributing to their ultimate success. This Central Minnesotan girl turned business executive by using her distinct analytical and communication skills to promote organizational growth and productivity.
Jennifer started her career in public accounting before transitioning to private business in 1998, when she joined Marco as an accounting supervisor. She became Controller in 2003, Chief Financial Officer in 2007, Executive Vice President of Business Development and Operations in 2017, and she began her current role in 2021.
Her active involvement in operations and leadership has helped Marco achieve record financial results and stock growth. Since 2005, Jennifer has played a key role in executing the company’s acquisition strategy. She has been instrumental in building a transparent culture and implementing strategies for consistently strong revenue and profit growth.
Jennifer has a passion for mentoring women in our community to achieve their personal aspirations. In particular, Jennifer and three fellow leaders at Marco started a women’s mentorship group called m:Powering Women, which helps cultivate and support new internal leaders.
What is something most people don’t know about Jennifer? She was once the lucky church-raffle-winner of a Chevy Aveo (with manual windows and no air-conditioning). Outside of work, she enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends and driving her fully air-conditioned vehicle.
