System Design and Installation
Maximize capabilities and allow for growth — that’s our goal in designing your cabling system, and we’ve got the process to ensure success in meeting that goal. Together, we’ll review your network — how it handles information, its performance and bandwidth requirements, life cycle cost, product features, and support and service requirements. Then we’ll discuss your future voice, video, and data networking needs. Based on our discoveries, we’ll design and configure a structured cabling system that meets your specific needs and optimizes network performance.
System Documentation Schematics
Using a CAD software application, we’ll create a schematic, or “road map”, of your structured cabling system, designed to your exact specifications. Besides providing a helpful, easy-to-understand visual, the CAD program allows us to incorporate user-friendly features to organize workplace moves, additions, and changes for optimum network capacity. Schematics are digitally stored for future reference and updates.
Cable Installation and Termination
Marco can provide you with installation, termination, and certification of category 5E utp, category 6 utp, category 6+utp, coax, and fiber optic cable, including but not limited to single mode and multimode fiber.
All cable, jacks, patch panels, and horizontal runs are installed and terminated according to EIA/TIA standards. Proper support, cable management, and termination are absolutely essential when installing high speed systems. Many people think that a cable is a cable. This could not be further from the truth. In today’s high speed systems, we demand more and more from our infrastructure. Poor termination and high tension pulling on wire will degrade the quality of your connection. Cable Testing, Labeling, and Certification
You can’t see the performance of your cabling system with the naked eye, but Marco offers the expertise, tools, and performance testing and certification to assure you’re getting optimal system performance and value. It begins with our cable installers, who are certified for proven cabling expertise. Upon installation completion, we test and/or certify your cabling is installed and terminated to provide the proper level of performance. To optimize your network and accommodate for frequent moves, additions, and changes, all wires, cables, terminals, and other components are routed through a central storage device. We can test remotely from our facility to determine the speed capability of your cabling system. We can also certify or re-certify your existing cabling system.
