The Challenge

For Fahey Sales Agency, Inc., quality advertising materials are an important part of promoting their business. After outsourcing their color printing for many years, Jim Fahey, Owner, was ready to look at in-house options to give them more control of their printing, increase their efficiencies, and maintain quality color output. “We wanted to take control of our production in-house and eliminate some processes in sending our jobs out to a printer,” said Jim. “But only if we could do it affordably.”

The Solution
Trevor Akervik, Marco Account Representative, worked with Jim to determine their copy volumes and printing requirements. Upon analyzing their color copying needs, Trevor recommended a new Sharp AR-C270 color imager through Marco's Managed Account Program—a program which allows Fahey Sales Agency to pay only for the copies produced.

Jim added, “In the auction business, we are basically an advertising company, and we don't have a lot of room for error and downtime. We now do in an hour what used to take us three weeks not too many years ago. We'll book a listing in the morning, and it's on our Web site and we have a printed flyer by 1:00 p.m. the same day—all in one process.”

The Results
