Kevin Eide, Document Solutions Technology Advisor for Marco, met with Rick Killion, Editor for Prairie Business, and Lin Smithwick, Sales Representative/Writer, to talk about options to upgrade their fax machine with a unit that would give them more features and make them more productive.
Kevin recommended an all-in-one solution—an HP4101 multifunction device that prints, copies, scans to email, and faxes. As a small and busy office, the solution fits their needs well as it gives them all the functions they need to get their jobs done in one unit.
When selecting a vendor, Rick said he looks for service and reliability. “I want someone I can count on when I need it,” he said. “I don’t have time to research the technology. So we really need someone to tell us how to keep things going. Kevin has done that for us.”
Kevin was also able to assist Prairie Business when their HP printer was waiting for a part. He brought over a small printer for them to use over the weekend to help them meet a deadline.
Lin commented, “Kevin is absolutely wonderful! He let us borrow Marco’s equipment to keep us going at our busiest time (month end). His customer service is just excellent!”
Lin went on, “The nice thing about Kevin is he makes you feel confident. You call him and in an instant he is here to assist and that filters throughout Marco. When someone asks, we say Marco is the company to deal with because of the way they take care of us.”
“Kevin makes us feel like we are his only customer. I call him and he is right here. He’s not rushed.”
Prairie Business has been using their HP4101 multifunction device for over a year now and has been pleased with its performance. Rick said, “Marco has provided us with an advanced technology solution for our problems without us having to deal with the technology.”
Lin added, “I feel really secure with that machine because I have Kevin and Marco to help me.”
