Jack Chivers Realty Relies on Marco for Knowledge and Service

In the real estate business, quality marketing materials are an important part of promoting your business. Jack Chivers Realty was using a color copier/printer for some time, but was having output problems with the unit. Del Rae Chivers, Office Manager for the Detroit Lakes realty company, relied on Marco to offer a replacement solution to fit their needs.

 
The Solution

Josh Hochgraber, Marco Technology Advisor, recommended they upgrade to a Sharp MX-2300 color copier/printer.  Marco set Jack Chivers Realty up on their Managed Account Program – a flexible financing program that allows them to use the new Sharp color copier/printer and just pay for the number of copies/prints generated each month. The program includes the equipment, service, and supplies – everything except staples, paper, and network troubleshooting services.

Del Rae said, “Josh came up with just the perfect solution for us.” The company uses the Sharp color unit primarily for high quality output of color flyers with property specs and photos. The equipment upgrade has given them time-saving features they didn’t have before such as scan to email. The feature allows them to scan and save documents in color and email them directly to our clients. “Our agents use this feature a lot!” said Del Rae.

As a multiple-service technology provider, Marco was also able to provide wireless laptops for Jack Chivers Realty’s sales agents. Del Rae worked with Marco’s Technology Advisor, Dan Pflepsen. The solution provides flexibility for their sales agents to access Multiple Listing Service (MLS) software via the Internet and other information they need to do their jobs. The laptops have a wireless connection to their Sharp color printer. “I love our laptops,” commented Del Rae. “It’s worth every dime to me to have Marco provide me with the knowledge and be someone I can depend on to direct the project.”

Knowing that service is often what proves to be the value behind a purchase, Del Rae was eager to boast about the service she receives from Marco. “When we have had any service issues, Marco has been here on a dime,” said Del Rae. “You can buy products anywhere, but I buy from Marco because of their service.
