St. Cloud, Minnesota – Marco, Inc., a distributor of advanced data and voice communications solutions for businesses, has been named a ‘Diamond Dealer’ for 2007 by Mitel, a provider of unified communications solutions and applications for organizations of all sizes.  The designation was bestowed at Mitel’s recent 2008 Business Partner Forum in Orlando, Florida.  Mitel partners achieving ‘Diamond’ status generate annual wholesale/net purchases over $3.5 million.

St. Cloud, Minn. (March 19, 2008) – Marco announced last Friday at its annual shareholders’ meeting that it distributed a record $2.3 million in stock benefits last year to 183 eligible employees. The employee-owned company’s strong profits in 2007 drove the average employee contribution to about $12,568.

Marco Acquires GR Graphics

The winners were announced on January 30, 2008, at the luncheon awards ceremony held at the Doubletree Park Place Hotel in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. The Minnesota Work-Life Champions™ Awards is Minnesota’s only statewide awards program spotlighting the efforts of Minnesota employers for implementing programs and practices that create flexible and supportive workplaces. The event was attended by more than 200 Minnesota business leaders and professionals. Marco also received the Minnesota Work-Life Champion award in 2006.
